MODERN DANCE IN INDIA

Modern Dance in India has a relatively short history. Since the perception of 'modern' or 'contemporary' can vary from dancer to dancer, this dance form cannot be defined as easily as the classical dance styles of India. It is also not codified in a detailed manner, as are the classical styles.
Uday Shankar, who was born in the early years of the 20th century, is widely accepted as the Father of Modern Dance in India. This great dancer had a very wide vision, and he appreciated the wonderful variety and scope of expression afforded by the different classical and folk dances extant in the country.
His search for a personal expression led him to incorporate different dance styles, such as Bharata Natyam and Kathakali into his choreographic productions. He established an idyllic institution in the hills of Kumaon, where he invited teachers from different genres to train his troupe in order to groom their bodies to a state where they could produce a varied, rich and contemporary dance vocabulary. Uday Shankar was an idealist as well as a wonderful showman. He was a catalyst in the renaissance of interest in Indian arts during the 1930s and '40s, and he introduced audiences in the West to Indian dance and music through the performances of his troupe.
Some of Uday Shankar's famous works include the innovative ballet, 'Labour and Machinery' and a path breaking film, 'Kalpana,' on the theme of dance.
The institute established by Uday Shankar is now defunct, but his legacy survives in the work of his children and his many disciples, who have their own troupes and students. Today, in addition to the line established by Uday Shankar, there are other practitioners of Modern Dance in India who belong to other schools.
More recently, Dr Manjushree Chaki-Sarkar created a dance idiom which she called Nava Nrityam. With her daughter Ranjabati Sarkar and their troupe based in Calcutta she did a great deal of research and codification of the dance style and presented a large number of choreographic productions. The untimely death of Ranjabati and of her mother Manjushree Chaki-Sarkar was a tragic loss for the world of contemporary dance.
With growing interaction between dance practitioners all over the country and the world, and awareness of important contemporary issues, many classical dancers have also stepped into the realm of contemporary dance through exploration of one or many dance styles. Often martial arts such as Kalaraipayattu of Kerala and Chhau of eastern India are incorporated into dance choreography, lending greater vigour and variety to the artistic expression.

News :Talk of the Planet

When Israeli athletes arrive for the start of the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing this week, their home in the Olympic Village will be graced by a mezuzah on its doorpost.

A delegation of VIPs attended the ceremony, where Rabbi Shimon Freundlich, co-director of Chabad-Lubavitch of Beijing, helped affix the traditional case that holds a biblically-mandates scroll containing verses from the Torah.

At the ceremony, which counted Israeli Ambassador Amos Nadai, and Olympic Committee of Israel officials Zvi Varshaviak and Efraim Zinger as guests, Freundlich blessed the arriving 43 athletes with health and peace.

In related news, visiting Israeli President Shimon Peres is expected to attend the reading of the Book of Lamentations with Freundlich Saturday night as part of the observance of Tisha B’Av, the anniversary of the destruction of the Holy Temples in Jerusalem. …

Phases Of Freedom

Are we searching for freedom? Then the Torah will help us in our search. The Torah focuses on the pursuit of freedom, as we see in the story of the Jews in Egypt: how they suffered as slaves, and how they attained liberation. Then came their slow journey through the desert, eventually reaching the Promised Land.

All this did not take place in one single step. Freedom has many stages, and the journey through the desert was itself part of the process. When they left Egypt they were not yet ready for the highest levels of freedom. Forty years later they were.

The closing Parshah in the Book of Numbers is called Masei, meaning "Journeys." It begins with a list of the forty-two stopping places where the Jews camped during their years of traveling through the desert. Yet the Torah does not call them halting places, camp sites or anything similar, as would suit the name of a region where, for a while, the Jews stopped moving. Instead it calls them "journeys", expressing the idea of leaving one place and coming to another.

A further point is the fact that the Torah text states: "These are the journeys of the Children of Israel through which they left the land of Egypt..." (Numbers 33:1). Long ago the question was asked: surely they left Egypt at the very first journey? Is the Torah implying that there was not just one, but forty-two journeys out of Egypt?

As we have noted, this is precisely what the Torah wants to teach us. Each journey was another stage in the long process of leaving Egypt.

The Torah is not just telling us something about the history of our ancestors in the remote past. It is helping us understand our own lives in the present.

We too are seeking freedom, are trying to escape from limitations. The Hebrew word for "Egypt," Mitzrayim, is very similar to the Hebrew word for limitations: meytzarim. The escape of our ancestors from Egypt thousands of years ago parallels our own attempts to transcend limitations today.

How exactly we define these limitations, our own individual "Egypt", will vary from person to person. For one it means problems of circumstance, arising from factors outside the person's direct control. For another it means the problem of inner conflict and struggle. For a third person it means the quest for spiritual freedom, transcending one's materialist, earth-bound ego.

The teaching of the Torah portion, telling us about the many "journeys" from Egypt, is that we must be prepared for many different stages in attaining our goal. The first step towards freedom becomes another, more subtle, form of limitation and slavery. When we succeed in escaping from that, and have reached the second stage of freedom - we discover that again we must strive for yet another level of liberty.

Thus it goes on, step after step. Each time we are escaping from yet another aspect of our personal Egypt. It may seem an endless task. Yet in fact every step truly brings us closer to genuine fulfillment, as an individual and as part of the Jewish people. Every step forward brings us closer to the Promised Land

"Charm is false and beauty is vanity." (Proverbs)

Human history is littered with examples of ideas that were thought beautiful in their time, and continued to have a following long after their inherent ugliness—and evil—was revealed.

Why? Because we begin from our senses, from what catches the eye or the heart—so we are prone to latch on to dazzling but misleading premises, and to remain married to them long after they have ceased to hold any promise.

The solution? We need to work from the inside out, probing essences rather than sensations, seeking order, and from that process, a glorious aesthetic emerges.

So beauty as a starting point becomes a distraction from truth, while those who seek truth are rewarded with a beauty that does not fade with time.

Truth—when it is uncovered—is beautiful, but beauty is not truth.

The History of Money

In the Beginning: Barter
Barter is the exchange of resources or services for mutual advantage, and may date back to the beginning of humankind. Some would even argue that it's not purely a human activity; plants and animals have been bartering -- in symbiotic relationships -- for millions of years. In any case, barter among humans certainly pre-dates the use of money. Today individuals, organizations, and governments still use, and often prefer, barter as a form of exchange of goods and services.

9,000 -- 6,000 BC: Cattle
Cattle, which include anything from cows, to sheep, to camels, are the first and oldest form of money. With the advent of agriculture came the use of grain and other vegetable or plant products as a standard form of barter in many cultures.

1,200 BC: Cowrie Shells
The first use of cowries, the shell of a mollusc that was widely available in the shallow waters of the Pacific and Indian Oceans, was in China. Historically, many societies have used cowries as money, and even as recently as the middle of this century, cowries have been used in some parts of Africa. The cowrie is the most widely and longest used currency in history.

1,000 BC: First Metal Money and Coins
Bronze and Copper cowrie imitations were manufactured by China at the end of the Stone Age and could be considered some of the earliest forms of metal coins. Metal tool money, such as knife and spade monies, was also first used in China. These early metal monies developed into primitive versions of round coins. Chinese coins were made out of base metals, often containing holes so they could be put together like a chain.

500 BC: Modern Coinage
Outside of China, the first coins developed out of lumps of silver. They soon took the familar round form of today, and were stamped with various gods and emperors to mark their authenticity. These early coins first appeared in Lydia, which is part of present-day Turkey, but the techniques were quickly copied and further refined by the Greek, Persian, Macedonian, and later the Roman empires. Unlike Chinese coins which depended on base metals, these new coins were made from precious metals such as silver, bronze, and gold, which had more inherent value.

118 BC: Leather Money
Leather money was used in China in the form of one-foot-square pieces of white deerskin with colorful borders. This could be considered the first documented type of banknote.

800 - 900 AD: The Nose
The phrase "To pay through the nose" comes from Danes in Ireland, who slit the noses of those who were remiss in paying the Danish poll tax.

806 AD: Paper Currency
The first paper banknotes appeared in China. In all, China experienced over 500 years of early paper money, spanning from the ninth through the fifteenth century. Over this period, paper notes grew in production to the point that their value rapidly depreciated and inflation soared. Then beginning in 1455, the use of paper money in China disappeared for several hundred years. This was still many years before paper currency would reappear in Europe, and three centuries before it was considered common.

1500s: Potlach
"Potlach" comes from a Chinook Indian custom that existed in many North American Indian cultures. It is a ceremony where not only were gifts exchanged, but dances, feasts, and other public rituals were performed. In some instances potlach was a form of initiation into secret tribal societies. Because the exchange of gifts was so important in establishing a leader's social rank, potlach often spiralled out of control as the gifts became progressively more lavish and tribes put on larger and grander feasts and celebrations in an attempt to out-do each other.

1535: Wampum
The earliest known use of wampum, which are strings of beads made from clam shells, was by North American Indians in 1535. Most likely, this monetary medium existed well before this date. The Indian word "wampum" means white, which was the color of the beads.

1816: The Gold Standard
Gold was officially made the standard of value in England in 1816. At this time, guidelines were made to allow for a non-inflationary production of standard banknotes which represented a certain amount of gold. Banknotes had been used in England and Europe for several hundred years before this time, but their worth had never been tied directly to gold. In the United States, the Gold Standard Act was officialy enacted in 1900, which helped lead to the establishment of a central bank.

1930: End of the Gold Standard
The massive Depression of the 1930's, felt worldwide, marked the beginning of the end of the gold standard. In the United States, the gold standard was revised and the price of gold was devalued. This was the first step in ending the relationship altogether. The British and international gold standards soon ended as well, and the complexities of international monetary regulation began.

The Present:
Today, currency continues to change and develop, as evidenced by the new $100 US Ben Franklin bill.

The Future: Electronic Money
Digital cash in the form of bits and bytes will most likely become an important new currency of the future.

Akshay is paid Rs. 75 crores?

Here's the hottest rumour doing the rounds of the industry. UTV, which has a slew of projects on floors and is still planning a few more projects, has signed Akshay Kumar for a whopping Rs. 75 crores. If true, it would be the highest ever price paid to any actor in Bollywood.

However, a trustworthy source at UTV laughed aloud when I called to verify the development. "That's not true! We have signed Akki for one of our forthcoming projects, but the price is nowhere close to what you've heard. And we wouldn't like to go on record to confirm the actual price," he said.

But the fact remains that Akki is the most sought-after actor in Bollywood today

Sania Mirza : Hot or Not?...

What's the Big Deal?...
well wat i wanna say is, people should stop praising sania for the wrong things like she's so hot and so pretty, etc. Sania mirza is not a model, she is a sportsperson, she need not be pretty or good looking at all. what we should be concerned with the way she plays, how many matches she wins, whether she is improving or not. she needs to be a sports icon, not a style icon. no one should be bothered about how short her skirts are, or whether they should be longer or shorter, it simply does not matter!!! when will indians learn to grow up and realise this simple truth???

So What If Sania is a Style Icon also???...
I think we are on our way to making a controversy on whether sania mirza deserves to be a style icon or a sports icon. why can't a person be both? now she is lucky that she is a talented sportsperson, and very good looking also. so why shouldn't she use both to her advantage? and let's face it. how many hot 20 year olds have we come across who are also international tennis players? leander paes and mahesh bhupati were the only ones so far who were the Indian tennis stars, so it is refreshing to see a pretty young thing on the tennis scene as well. and anyway, if cricketers can be made brand ambassadors for every stupid product in the market, i'd say kudos to tennis for getting at least a part of the glamour. i frankly dont see anything wrong in sania getting her share of the limelight. cheers to her and all the best!

Hot for the Wrong Reasons...
It is sad to see, that Indian citizens themselves are responsible for wasting what would be one of the greatest talents in tennis. Yes, I am talking about Sania Mirza. It is this new trend of roping in talented sportspeople into advertisements and other commercial activities that distracts them from their main focus. Sania Mirza can be world number one if she really tries, because there has to be some talent in a girl who puts up tough fights with the likes of serena williams and defeats martina hingis at such a young age. but she must aim higher than just putting up tough fights with the stalwarts; she should aim at winning. if maria sharapova, although younger, can achieve so much success, why not sania?? this is the time for her to prove herself, and not only count the money she is making from endorsements, etc. There is still a lot of time for that. For now, she must just concentrate on making India a proud country.

10 Ways your Dreams can Enhance your Life

dreams can enhance your life.

5. Dreams uncover your flair and your flaws
Your dream journey is all about respecting your own sacredness and internal divinity, about self-understanding and acceptance … not self improvement. You’re already perfect right now; you are already enough, you already have everything you need to realize your intended destiny. The only variable is how you choose to get there. And your dreams can guide you.

Do you have a hidden talent that you’re not using? You may have a string of strengths that could be used together to achieve exactly what you want in life. Are you persisting with a flawed approach to something? What are your weaknesses, the chinks in your armour? Ours is a world of duality … light and dark, joy and sorrow, strength and weakness … power and fragility. Do you know how to best use your unique flair and how to bolster your flaws to achieve your personal goals? The good news is that the answers are in your dreams.

6. Dreams give you clear direction
Dreams present you with options and choices … point out the opportunities and potential obstacles … give you a chance to re-evaluate the direction you are taking with a particular issue and alter your course for a smoother ride. Your dreams are of full of symbolism relating to DIRECTION … look out for symbols like:
- Up or down
- Left or right
- Forwards or backwards
- Exits and entrances
- Ascending or descending
- Open or closed
- Light or dark
- Crossroads, forks in the road
- Bridges
- Stairways and ladders

When you evaluate these direction finders within the context of your dream you’ll find some crystal clear messages and solutions.

7. Dreams are a dialogue, a two-way conversation
Dreams are a dialogue between your inner self and your waking self … your sub-conscious and your conscious self. And it’s a two-way street. You receive messages and answers and you can ask for guidance and assistance in solving problems that you have right now. You can create your own Dream Meditation to explore a different aspect of yourself or issue you may be dealing with right now that you’re looking for guidance on.

8. Dreams are great problem solvers
Would you like to know if one of your dreams is providing you with a crystal clear solution? I had a dream recently which clearly showed me that taking on a certain work project would be disastrous. So I didn’t. I discovered later that the work was not quite what it seemed and that I would have been pretty miserable had I taken it on.

You’ll find that your dreams can provide you with amazing solutions to your current life situations and problems too.

9. Dreams remind you of important issues in your life
When you are avoiding something important … or putting it off … or are really stuck with something in your life … your dreams are just itching to show you a possible answer or a better way. Your dreams will hassle and harass you by sending recurring messages or you’ll have dreams with a recurring theme until you take notice. It’s like having your own personal Alert System.

10. Dreams give you the edge
You can be totally “in the know” with regard to any circumstance in your life right now. Is somebody around you not being totally honest or giving you the true picture? What is really going on? What outcomes could you expect and what opportunities and obstacles are there ahead of you? If you really take the time to write your dreams down and interpret them you’ll have the edge over others who don’t have this powerful information. And you’ll be able to better navigate your journey and solve your problems to give you the best possible outcome.

10 Ways to Bring Meaning to Your Life

My life always appears to be so hectic. It's as if I purposely overload myself with more things than I could possibly ever accomplish. As I'm going to sleep I think about all the things I need to get done And when I'm awake during the day I think about all the things that need to get done. Take a shower, make coffee, eat breakfast, brush my teeth, go to work, etc... It's almost as if at the end of the day I can truly ask myself, "where did the day go?" Enough of these and I can ask myself the same questions in weeks, months, or even years!

So when I feel like these questions are coming up, I do some brief exercises that help bring me to the present moment and remind myself that I'm living.

1. For 5 minutes: Whatever you are doing, just do it slightly slower. At work we are all given tasks to do. One time per day, for 5 minutes do that task a little bit slower. Do not do the task in slow motion, or take breaks from the task, simply do it a little bit slower.

2. Take 5 minutes at lunch to notice what you're eating. You can actually do this at an meal, or anytime you eat. You are going to notice what your food looks like, how it smells, feels, and tastes. As you pick up your food, notice the texture of it, is it bumpy, smooth, wet? Notice what you smell. As you take it in your mouth notice how it feels in your mouth, notice the tastes that are coming out of it, how your teeth break it down. As you swallow it, notice it going down your throat. Do the same with the drink.

3. Take 3 minutes to just sit and notice your breath. Sit in a place of your choice, could be behind your desk, or anywhere. Close your eyes. For 3 minutes simply pay attention to your breath. For these 3 minutes your breath gets your undivided attention. If you notice yourself thinking about something, even the thought "why am I doing this stupid exercise", just notice that your're thinking that and then gently bring your attention back to your breath.

4. Wash the Dishes. If you're not used to doing dishes, there will be many benefits to this one. As you begin to wash the dishes, notice the texture of the plate and the warmth of the water on your hands. Inhale and notice if there is any scent. Listen to hear the rush of the water or any other sounds that are happening around you. Not only will you be able to practice being in the moment, but many of your family and friends will be thrilled with you.

5. Take a Bath or Shower. Preferably a bath if you have one, but even with a shower, you can take your moment in the shower or bath to feel the warmth of the water or feel how your body is immersed in the water. How does your skin feel? Do you notice any smells? Is your hair wet. Just be in the moment and notice all your senses....breathe.

6. Make Love Slightly Slower for a few moments. As you are making love to your significant other, take a moment to purposely move slightly slower. As you do this begin to mentally feel over all parts of your body. How your skin feels when touching his/hers, how are you breathing? Are you sweating? Is there a scent in the air. Take a moment and really be there making love.

7. Smell a flower for an extra breath. This one I love. Often times I will be passing by a flower and if I remember to smell it, I take an extra inhalation to really get the full experience of the scent. You will be surprised how much that extra inhalation makes a difference in the experience.

8. Be Silly. I'm serious;). Being silly allows your creative juices to flow and your creative juices is what life is all about. Letting yourself be silly can also be very relaxing and create joyful situations that are full of meaning.

9. Write a letter to someone close to you... telling them how much you appreciate them. This is not a new idea by any stretch yet it is always worth mentioning since it is so meaningful. A letter that that person will always cherish.

10. Remind yourself that you are a miracle. This may be the most important. How they heck did any of us get here? When we break it down to nanotechnology and quantum physics, scientists are stumped to figure out the great mystery of us physically being here and interacting and creating symbols and concepts and communicating.

It's boggling. That's why our moments on this earth are so precious and it is a wonderful gift to attempt to cultivate those moments in life that you consider to be sacred.

how can 10 simple articles change your life?

10 simple articles on a topic that you love, you’ll effectively:

  1. Create equity in your site.
  2. Add equity to your business.

Let’s say you stick with writing articles on that topic for a year, and by the end of that time, you’ve accrued 100 articles. When all is said and done, you’ll own a Web site that is chock-full of detailed, current, and pertinent articles on your subject, and you’ll likely have a very targeted (and interested) audience who have all opted to come along for the ride.

And if you never believe anything else I say, make damn sure you believe this:

Google loves Web sites like this.

In my buddy’s case, if all he had were an online storefront and a slick AJAX interface, anyone could step into his market and compete against him with their own storefront. In essence, there would be no equity in his site because anyone could replicate what he already had with their own products…

But they’d have one hell of a time trying to compete with his content.

If he had 100 articles and they had none, it would be a joke. The bottom line is that in any topic, whoever controls the information flow around that subject holds all the power.

By writing articles on baseball cards, my buddy could establish himself as the preeminent source of information on that topic. He could build a valuable Web site and a targeted, interested audience at almost no cost. In as little as 9 or 10 months, he could create so many channels through which to make money that it would be utterly ridiculous.

At that point, his only problem would be figuring out how to further capitalize on all the opportunities that he’d created for himself.

And it all would have started with 10 simple articles.

What is Best for You?

Choosing a college degree can be a very difficult decision to make. There are many things to consider but it is important to decide on the right college degree for the type of occupation that you want to pursue. You may find that you do not actually need a college degree but that a certificate or diploma will be sufficient, or your chosen profession may require further study after a college degree such as medicine or law.

Certificates or diplomas require a shorter period of study than a traditional college degree and are usually taken by students wanting to pursue a career in an occupational field. Quite often a certificate or diploma can be taken before embarking on a college degree course.

An associate degree is awarded after completing a two-year college degree course. Some community colleges and other universities offer an associate degree program which allows you to transfer to a four-year college degree course after you have been awarded the appropriate associate degree. There are a number of occupations where a two-year college degree is recommended or required including:

• Administrative Assistant
• Automotive Mechanic
• Cardiovascular Technician
• Commercial Artist
• Computer Technician
• Dental Hygienist
• Drafter
• Engineering Technician
• Funeral Director
• Graphic Designer
• Heating, Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician
• Hotel or Restaurant Manager
• Medical Laboratory Technician
• Medical Record Technician
• Insurance Agent
• Registered Nurse
• Surgical Technologist
• Surveyor
• Visual Artist
• Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator

A traditional four-year college degree is the most frequently required qualification for a number of occupations. Some examples of professions requiring a four-year college degree in an appropriate discipline are:

• Accountant
• Computer Systems Analyst
• Dietitian
• Editor
• Engineer
• FBI Agent
• Investment Banker
• Journalist
• Medical Illustrator
• Pharmacist
• Public Relations Specialist
• Recreational Therapist
• Research Assistant
• Social Worker
• Teacher
• Writer

There are also a number of occupations that require a student to obtain a college degree that is longer than the conventional four-year college degree programs. These extended professional college degree programs include:

• Architect
• Biologist
• Chiropractor
• Dentist
• Diplomat
• Doctor
• Economist
• Geologist
• Lawyer
• Librarian
• Management Consultant
• Palaeontologist
• Priest
• Psychologist
• Public Policy Analyst

It is important to choose a college degree course that is suitable for the career path you want to follow. If you are unsure of which field of occupation you want to enter then it is advisable to take a certificate or diploma course first. This will enable you to change disciplines without having spent four years on a degree course that ends up not being something that you want to pursue.

Tips and Tricks for Saving Money

College books are getting more and more expensive every year. University course textbooks are one of the biggest expenses of attending college and the average amount of money needed for college books is $800 per year. The cost of college textbooks is also constantly increasing by around 6% per year. Textbooks are essential for most college courses and can often seem impossible to afford however, it is possible for college students to save quite a bit of money on their books by shopping smart.

One of the best ways to save on spending a lot of money on college books is to borrow them instead of purchasing them. University libraries have a good stock of required reading books that students can use on the premises throughout their course and help lessen the impact of not having enough money for actually purchasing college books. Naturally the majority of savvy students have cottoned on to the fact that they too can save money on college books by using the ones stocked by the library so it may be difficult to be able to find the book not in use on a regular basis. If you plan ahead and set aside a few different times of the day and week to visit the library you may find the best options for you to be able to use the college books that you want. Not everyone wants to study late in the evenings, especially at weekends, but if your library is open and you are intent on finding ways to save on spending money for college books then this could be the perfect time.

Another avenue that may work to save spending a lot of money on college books is to approach your course professor. They will often have a huge stock of college books that they have acquired through various means over the years and it is a good idea to see if you can borrow a particular book that they may have. Not only may this help but you be able to find out if certain college books are really required for the course or if you are only going to need a chapter or two from them. With this advance knowledge you can obtain a copy of the book for a short period of time from the library or another student who has bought the book and read the relevant chapters without having to fork out the money for college books that you wonÂ’t necessarily need

How to Survive College Life

Starting a new life, college life, can seem a bit strange and it is important that you learn a few tips and tricks to be sure you will survive and also enjoy college life. The first thing and the most obvious is that money is going to be vital, so make sure you pay your essentials before spending for enjoyment during your college life.

The majority of students live in shared accommodations in their college life. Because this may be the first time they share space with non-family members, this is the time when college may either become enjoyable or hellish. If you can develop a boundary with your roomies, your success is guaranteed. Make sure you have the time to study for your exams undisturbed and then you can enjoy your new college life. Although you cannot change people around you, as long as you clean up after yourself, your life will be much easier.

In this new college life you will meet lots of new people, but don't let this affect your relationship with your family or those back home. Remember that you had a life before college and you will have one after it as well. Also, keeping the relationships with your friends from outside the college life can be a form of relaxation when your college life gets to be too much.

There aren't many rules that teach you how to settle into college life but you have to give it a chance. Don't rush back home every time you run into some difficulties because then you will find it harder to adapt in real life as well as in college life. Also, the best parts of college life happen on weekends, so don't miss them.

College life can be sometimes so exciting that you won't remember the most important things: to eat and sleep well and to take care of yourself. You should enjoy college but don't forget to rest and concentrate on your studies and exams.

Computer Ethics Article- A clean impact

Computer ethics is the analysis of the nature and the social impact of computer technology and the corresponding formulation and justification of policies for the ethical use of technology. Ethics cover both social as well as personal policies for the ethical use of technology.

The policy vacuum is a commonly faced problem while dealing with computer ethics. Another difficulty in the path is the conceptual vacuum. This enhances the registration of an analysis, which facilitates a coherent conceptual framework within which one has to formulate a policy for action. This will aid the determination of programs and instances of the same program. But in the barrier of coherent conceptual framework too, policy formulation through computer technology will be tough. The distinction and identification of what has to be done, and understanding about the situation are not to be linked with computer ethics.

Ethics is a dynamic and complex field of study, which takes into account, the relationships between facts, conceptualization, policies and values with regard to the ever changing computer technology. It is neither a fixed set of rules nor the application of ethical principles to a value-free technology.

Ethics about the usage of computers is a discipline, which depends on science and ethics, a field in between them, which facilitates both conceptualizations for understanding and policies for the effectual use of computer technology
